Kardoesie is situated along the N7 at the top of Piekenierskloof Pass, Citrusdal. We have a breathtaking view of the Renosterhoek Valley and magnificent mountains... Kardoesie is a centre point to many attractions in the area.
Just an hour and half drive from Cape Town, Kardoesie is a definite must visit experience on the West Coast!
With a boutique, farm stall and restaurant to indulge yourself in, a small group conference centre, and accommodation indoor or outdoor, Kardoesie pulls out all the stops to entertain you.
So if it is a quick stop over to stretch the legs on a trip or a weekend getaway, at Kardoesie we will have something for you.
In the shop you will find something sweet or savoury for the taste buds. Our shop stocks a wide range of home-made fruit preserves and jams to rusks and biscuits.
Don’t forget to try our home-made pies. We also have arts and crafts for your home and/or loved one.
Feeling a bit peckish then have a seat outside or inside the restaurant. Inside during winter months the fire place is heaven sent.
Outside summer months you can enjoy a perfect view of “Lappiesland”. We offer all day breakfasts and light meals.
For the best coffee and a selection of cakes to choose from, don’t forget to make a stop-over at Kardoesie.
This is the newest addition to our resume. Inside you will find leather products (belts, hand bags, cushions), jewellery, imported clothes and sunglasses. Story books, biographies, recipes are some of the reading materials also sold.
Camping: Unique swimming pool with a wooden deck. Enjoy mesmerising sunsets! Facilities include warm showers, toilets and a bath for the ladies. Seperate power points at each site. Wood can be bought at the farm stall and also meat in the freezer.
Self Catering: We have 2 self catering units with small kitchenette (fridge, Microwave etc), Aircon, DSTV, double bed. (Sleeps 2 each).
